We want to bring something good to the people we have come to admire and love....
Ledger Special Report: IS PLYMOUTH FILM STUDIO THE REEL DEAL? - The Patriot Ledger

The film industry is looking east for a new base. And they're banking on one key town: Plymouth
First in a three-part series
It is home to a number of endangered species and boasts one of the largest pine barrens in the world. There is no water or sewer service, no electricity, and only one road in and out.
But film industry veterans see the 1,000 wooded acres in south Plymouth in the middle-of-nowhere as the perfect spot for Plymouth Rock Studios, a 1-million-square-foot, $300 million film studio complex.

January 22, 2008
PLYMOUTH - When the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce asked residents in an online survey to vote yes or no in favor of or against a proposed movie production studio in South Plymouth, no one knew exactly what to expect.
The unscientific survey, designed to be a measuring stick for public opinion, was posted on the Chamber’s Web site for a month, through Friday, Jan. 18, and the results were announced yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
Of the 404 votes cast, 341 people, or 84.4 percent, were in favor of the studio; 39 people, or 9.6 percent, were opposed; and 24, or 6 percent, were undecided.
